CHAMONIX WINTER

Chamonix Mont Blanc is both a summer and a winter resort. Found at the foot of Mont-Blanc Chamonixs's history is in the mountains the birthplace of Modern mountaineering, and free ride skiing this is the ultimate skiers holiday destination. The town is full of charm and warmth, this is not a purpose built resort, but a real mountain village. There are not many places where you can ski 3000 vertical meters like you can do here and then party if you can till 5 in the morning.

The Chamonix Ski Pass covers 5 separate ski areas within the valley. They are connected by a bus service, that is free with your ski pass and holiday tax card. The heart of Chamonix has a huge variety of bars, restaurants, nightclubs, shops, ski-rentals and all you need for a great holiday.

CHAMONIX SUMMER

Chamonix Mont Blanc is both a summer and a winter resort. The town where mountaineering started, Chamonix is great for Summer exploration, walking on the mountain paths to mixed alpine routes in the high mountain tops, Summer is my preferred season. With Mont blanc as the back drop where better to have your mountain summer holiday, or to start the tour de Mont blanc, a famous walking route around the massif de Mont blanc that takes 6/7 days The mountain biking here is exceptional, as is the hiking. Originally a town - its Not a purpose built ski resort, because of this it has kept its charm and warmth. There are not many places where you can follow in the footsteps of the great hero's of mountaineering or just sit in a high meadow and enjoy the view. The heart of Chamonix has a huge variety of bars, restaurants, nightclubs, shops, ski-rentals and all you need for a great holiday.

Chamonix is located only 1 hour from Geneva airport, which makes it simple to get here. If you travel by car you will find it's just a simple drive to the heart of Chamonix. Then just a further 8 kilometers to Argentiere, on of the premier Ski villages in France.
